We act responsibly at Primula. We carefully select our suppliers and demand the same level of responsibility from them as we do from ourselves. By doing so, we are able to stand behind our products and offer our customers the best possible quality.

Through sustainable development, we can together secure the opportunities for a good life for current and future generations. We have defined ethical principles that guide our operations, and in recognition of our work, we have been awarded the BRCGS and EcoVadis certificates.

EcoVadis

EcoVadis is a global corporate responsibility assessment provider that ranks companies on the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable sourcing. The assessment is based on documented evidence and compares a company's performance to all companies assessed by EcoVadis over the previous 12 months.

Primula Bakery achieved a bronze level in the assessment, demonstrating that our sustainability performance is at an excellent level.

We comply with environmental legislation and official regulations
When purchasing raw materials, we take into account the transport distance and the amount of packaging materials used
We actively seek better environmental solutions for packaging materials
In transportation, we use equipment with the lowest possible emissions and strive for the highest possible vehicle filling rate
We streamline our processes to minimize the use of energy, water, raw materials and packaging materials
We encourage personnel to use emission-free alternatives or carpooling when traveling to work

Report Abuse / Anonymous reporting channel

The Salonen Bakery Group is committed to responsible business practices and strives to promote ethical practices. We take all illegal, unethical and other activities that violate our guidelines seriously and encourage you to report them whenever you have a reasonable suspicion.

Salonen Bakery has a whistleblowing reporting channel where you can make an anonymous report of suspected serious misconduct. This could include, for example, illegal or unlawful conduct, harassment, unfair treatment, bribery or other serious allegations of abuse. A report may be dismissed if it is not one of the matters required to be reported under the Guidelines, was not made in good faith, was made with malicious intent, or has already been resolved.
